Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an Ehgzli account or by using any part of the Ehgzli service (the booking pages, patient portal, clinic admin, telehealth rooms, public site), you agree to these Terms and to the linked Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Privacy Policy

2. The service

Ehgzli provides software that connects patients with clinics and practitioners for booking visits, conducting telehealth consultations, managing clinical records, billing, and related operations. Ehgzli is not itself a healthcare provider; we run the platform on which providers deliver care.

3. Your obligations

• Provide accurate registration data and keep it current.
• Keep your password and any access tokens private. You are responsible for activity under your account until you report compromise.
• Use the service only for lawful purposes. Do not attempt to interfere with operation, scrape data at scale, probe security boundaries, or upload malicious content.
• Do not use the service to harass, defame, impersonate, or discriminate against any person.
• Clinics, practitioners, and staff must comply with their professional, licensing, and recordkeeping obligations in their jurisdiction. Ehgzli is a tool; clinical and ethical responsibility stays with the provider.

4. Clinical disclaimer

Ehgzli is not a substitute for emergency care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, dial your local emergency number immediately. Telehealth consultations may not be appropriate for every condition; the treating practitioner decides whether a remote visit is clinically appropriate and may require an in-person visit instead.

5. Payment & refunds

Patient-side: visit fees, deposits, and invoices are set by the clinic, not by Ehgzli. Online payments are processed by Paymob (EGP) or Stripe (USD/SAR/AED) under their respective terms. Refund policy follows the clinic's posted policy and the published cancellation policy on the appointment page (typically: free if cancelled 24h or more before the visit; 50% forfeit if cancelled within 24h; no-show forfeits the deposit).

Clinic-side: Ehgzli subscription fees are billed in advance per the pricing page. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from the clinic admin subscription page; changes take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. We do not pro-rate downgrades within a cycle.

6. Intellectual property

The Ehgzli platform, design, code, and trademarks are owned by Ehgzli. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for its intended purpose during the term of your account. You retain ownership of the content you upload (medical records, profile data, reviews) and grant Ehgzli a limited licence to process and display it as required to operate the service for you.

7. Liability

The service is provided on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ehgzli is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data. Our aggregate liability for any claim is capped at the fees paid by you to Ehgzli in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, attempt to harm the service, or fail to pay fees. On termination, your right to use the service ends; sections on liability, IP ownership, data retention, and governing law survive.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally within 30 days will be submitted to the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt — subject to your mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence. (Counsel may relocate this clause for tenants based in KSA / UAE; see template note above.)

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the product, the law, or our practices change. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes (price, scope of service, data handling) will be notified by email and via in-product banner at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date means you accept the change.
